Hendy Driving School is a friendly school of motoring based in the heart of Wales. We work in the Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells areas and can arrange a pick up point either from home or a convenient location.

With almost a quarter of a century of experience of getting people on the road in Mid Wales, we're confident that our knowledge combined with your enthusiasm and hard work is the key to your travel independence.

Prices

We are often asked "How many driving lessons will I need?" This is a question I can't answer as everyone learns at different rates. It also depends on whether you're having private practise, and your attitude towards driving. All we can say is that we will get you to the required standard so you will be safe on the road as quickly and cost effectively as we can. You will not have to have extra lessons that you do not need.

Standard Lessons

Pass Plus training - £180

We recommend that our pupils take at least one hour's tuition per week to allow them to practice a full range of skills. The choice however is yours, and you will have our support whatever you choose.

If you live further away and are unable to meet us in the Builth/Llandrindod area, you would need to book a longer lesson to accommodate the extra travelling distance with your hour's teaching time.
